JagArt Boot Shoot
People love James Gaffney’s bespoke DM boots and I think it’s partly because of the poetry he brings to them with his signature art and the expression of his life philosophy
He’s one of a kind. They are one of a kind.
A Phantom Thread
One of my favourite films in the last few years was ‘A Phantom Thread’. The story is set in 1950s London where Reynold Woodcock, designer to the rich and famous, sews messages into the couture he creates for his wealthy clients.
There is something very special about this, the architect of the artistry goes out into the world, in a small, secret way, alongside the thing itself
Sometimes self-expression is about belonging, wearing the kind of clothes your friends wear. Some of it is a declaration of independence and individuality. ‘There is only one of me'.
For those who like the latter, JagArt’s boots are fun, joyful and kick-ass.
The shoot was at beautiful Paxton House, just across the border, in Scotland.
