The Green Green Kettle - Shooting products outside.

The VEKTRA kettle keeps boiled water at a temperature which means that four hours after boiling one can still make a cup of tea without reboiling. It's a green kettle.

The kettle had to be part of the environment but stand out from it. You wouldn't want to make a electrical kettle look natural, it needs to look like a reliable, effective applicance. Nevertheless, it's useful to make a fairly strong link between the environment and a kettle designed to save energy.

I propped my two polystyrene reflectors on a plastic bag stuffed with bubble wrap on one side and whatever clump of grass would serve as a support, on the other.

The product stands out from the landscape but we get the green message. A delicate balance of techno and nature, brought together within the bosky riverside setting.
